Who am I?
I am Pieter Populaire, a student in Medicine at the KU Leuven. I started studying Medicine after passing the entrance examination in 2013. In June 2016, I graduated from my Bachelor's degree in Medicine, cum laude. Currently, I am enrolled in the second year of the Master's degree in Medicine. At my university I am an active member in the student community called Medica. This community brings together students in Medicine and Biomedical Sciences for both leisure and academic-related activities. Besides this I am a member of the service club Rotaract North-Limburg, the youth devision of the extensive Rotary International network. As part of this service club, I manage to support multiple charities.
Having grown up in the twenty-first century I managed to obtain extensive knowledge in technology. For that reason, I am currently the webmaster in both of my main extra-curricular activities: student community Medica and non-profit organization Rotaract North-Limburg. In addition, my 21st century view of the world has given me an eagerness to explore it, both on an academic level and for leisure. This eagerness has been the major driving force for my many and diverse visits throughout the different parts of the world.
